The Kilmer School is a calm, peaceful school that is focused on learning. Each year in September, teachers and their students develop classroom rules and expectations regarding behavior and work. We hope to insure appropriate student conduct by: Developing trusting relationships between students and adults; Modeling good behavior; Including students in developing clear expectations; Explicitly teaching those expectations; Providing a positive atmosphere that is focused on learning; Preventing misbehavior before it occurs; Responding appropriately when misbehavior occurs; Involving family in reinforcing appropriate conduct.
All BPS students are held to the BPS Code of Conduct, which can be viewed online at www.bostonpublicschools.org .
